The impact You'll Make:


As Senior Manager PCX Assortment Strategy, you & your team will be responsible for the following areas:


- Ownership & Optimization of 3rd party marketplace & fulfillment center assortment

- Ownership of 3rd party go to market and promo strategy 

- Management of weekly promotion assortment as it relates to fulfillment centers

- Ongoing Optimization of PCX Assortment Visibility

- Support product initiatives related to 3rd party marketplace & PCX fulfilment centers

- Support operational initiatives related to on shelf availability


This role is central to the overall success of the customer journey on PCX & our 3rd party marketplace partners (Instacart & Doordash). You will be willing to work in a driven, entrepreneurial environment, and comfortable leading a team within a highly collaborative & ambiguous space. This is a people leader role with direct reports and multiple key stakeholder work streams that requires an individual that is comfortable being very proactive and socially engaged within Loblaw Digital. Additionally, you will have extensive experience in finding and applying data-driven insights to support business decision-making. We expect this individual can own their functional areas with strategic guidance from the director.

What You'll Do

  • Build, socialize, and lead the execution of our online assortment strategy
  • Actively manage & optimize the assortment for both fulfillment center & 3rd party marketplaces
  • Collaborate with data science to identify and influence changes to the assortment algorithm
  • Develop customer centric merchandising strategies for 3rd party market places (Instacart / Doordash)
  • Support fill and found initiatives to increase operational picking efficiency

Does This Sound Like You?

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA, BCom, or similar)
  • 5+ years of experience leading a team in eCommerce merchandising, or grocery retail merchandising
  • Ability to self-organize multiple tasks well and to complete them on time with a clear focus on quantitative results
  • Dealing with ambiguity and high degree of proactive “hands-on” thinking and acting
  • Curious mindset, willing to work beyond laid boundaries and high ownership to drive things end to end.
  • Excellent communication skills – proven results with key decision makers
