Sr. Manager, Operations – PC Express & Advance

The impact you'll make
As Senior Manager, Operations for PCX & Advance, you will lead the successful execution of our capital spend strategy to drive growth in both our PC Express and in-store media networks. Your superior communications, cross functional collaboration and business acumen will support timely and highly effective implementation to support Loblaw Digital’s annual priorities with key measurable targets in place to monitor success.
What you'll do
- Assume lead for all In Store Media established network of assets (digital screens, audio, etc), including responsibility for ongoing maintenance
- Work cross functionally with the Loblaw Advance Team, Tech Vendors and Store Operations to ensure store teams are supported and overall health/uptime of the in-store media network, including travel to stores when necessary
- Utilize existing materials to develop and maintain progress dashboards and historical reports to ensure we are consistently meeting all necessary contractual obligations
- Work closely with Advance’s Product team on content strategy and approvals to ensure we are meeting contractual obligations and revenue targets
- Work with the communications team to notify appropriate store teams of site visits and SOPs and provide appropriate documentation to troubleshoot issues and/or support network contacts to support store colleagues
- Assume operational main point of contact for all PC Express capital projects through to completion (including innovation spend) with Loblaw Real Estate, Finance and PC Express Store Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of capital projects for PC Express
- Support annual strategy build relative to PC Express capital projects, including in store physical expansions and minor equipment store renovations to drive sales growth and improve in store efficiencies
- Develop and maintain formal framework for intake processes and communicate cross-functionally with stakeholders regarding PC Express capital projects
- Collaborate with Store Growth and Communications Team to provide clear timelines and expectations including equipment, renovations, expansions, etc. to the Store Operations teams
Does This Sound Like You?
- 5 yrs min. experience in retail industry; preferably grocery
- 3+ years Experience managing a team of direct & indirect reports
- End to end understanding of operations process management/SOP
- Project management skills and/or certifications
- Ability to present/build presentations for executive teams and stakeholders
- A self-starter
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced work environment
- Problem solving skills
- PC skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
