Your Opportunity

Our GTA Offices are looking for a Senior Manager to join the Indirect Tax team and own the following responsibilities:

  • Provide Indirect Tax support to colleagues and clients in relation to Goods & Services Tax/Harmonized Sales Tax, and provincial-level sales taxes in Quebec, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, carbon taxes, Luxury Tax and Underused Housing Tax
  • Research Indirect Tax issues and prepare correspondence and related client deliverables 
  • Oversee and review Indirect Tax compliance for clients 
  • Liaise with tax authorities on Indirect Tax matters for clients
  • Assist with tax authority examinations, audits, and voluntary disclosures as they relate to Indirect Taxes
  • Manage practice matters, such as billings, accounts receivable and client onboarding procedures
  • Assist with the coaching and development of junior team members
  • Identify opportunities to assist colleagues and clients with Indirect Taxes
  • Remain up to date with all legislation pertaining to Indirect Taxes

Your experience and education

  • A CPA/CMA/CGA designation is preferred but not required
  • You have completed the CPA GST/HST In-Depth Course
  • You have a minimum of eight years' experience with indirect taxes
  • You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
  • You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
