Senior Manager, Corporate Sustainability
Allied is looking for a Senior Manager, Corporate Sustainability to join our team on a 15-month contract.

In the role of Senior Manager, Corporate Sustainability, you will be responsible for managing our corporate ESG Strategy, ensuring alignment with our goals and industry best practices, leading to the delivery of public disclosures including our annual ESG Report. What will you do?
- Lead all corporate sustainability reporting, ensuring data completeness and accuracy, detailed documentation and process adherence and timely report-submissions.
- In collaboration with the Asset and Environment Sustainability team, develop and integrate sustainability programs, processes and tools that translate strategies into actions and identify opportunities for improvement and monitor throughout the year. Coordinate with third-party consultants to elevate program delivery and support site-level execution as needed.
- Monitor and implement the appropriate ESG frameworks, standards and metrics to support our ESG programs and reporting as well as investor relations. Conduct regular reviews, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements, as needed.
- Act as a subject matter expert to promote sustainability, enhance knowledge sharing and performance improvement. Prepare and present both internal and external materials that highlight our sustainability initiatives and as needed.
- Collaborate cross functionally on opportunities to enhance Allied’s social commitments and initiatives, including our 2024+ EDI Roadmap and tenant programming.
What are we looking for?
- University Degree and/or demonstrated continuous learning in applicable subject matter.
- At least 7 years’ experience in ESG/Sustainability within commercial real estate or sustainability consulting, with a solid grasp of industry-specific sustainability concepts and practices.
- A thorough understanding of third-party reporting frameworks including SASB, GRI and TCFD (IFRS/CSDS is a bonus), as well as familiarity with Bill C-59.
- Proven expertise in investor-focused ESG report writing and submissions for global frameworks such as ISS and MSCI.
- Ability to summarize complex data and information from various sources into concise and compelling stories and case studies.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey insights clearly across various levels, build positive relationships both internally and externally and comfort presenting to an executive audience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications and familiar with EGS reporting applications and tools.
- Detail-oriented and accountable, committed to delivering high quality and accurate work.
