Knix is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager, Business Development to drive growth through new market and product expansions. In this key leadership role, you will develop business cases and spearhead strategic projects that propel Knix into new markets and product categories. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in business development, market expansion, and growth strategy, with a proven track record of delivering results in fast-paced environments. Reporting to the VP of Strategy & Business Development, this role will primarily focus on North America, with opportunities to explore global initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the assessment, execution, and governance of a portfolio of business and market development projects, with a primary focus on North America.
  • Oversee market development initiatives from planning to execution, ensuring smooth transitions to local teams.
  • Drive international expansion efforts into emerging markets and product categories, aligning with Knix's strategic goals.
  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities to fuel growth and strengthen brand presence.
  • Manage the development and launch of new product categories, ensuring cross-functional alignment.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, setting clear goals, timelines, and milestones while providing ongoing feedback.
  • Maintain regular communication and updates with Knix leadership to ensure project alignment and success.
  • Consolidate consumer and market insights to share with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Effectively manage project budgets and ensure financial accountability.
  • Negotiate and secure agreements with internal and external partners, including distributors, channels, and other stakeholders.
  • Travel as needed (up to 25%) within North America and potentially Europe to support business initiatives.

  • You excel at managing multiple projects with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • You are proactive, positive, and passionate about Knix's mission to empower people to live unapologetically free.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in business development, market expansion, sales, marketing, or growth strategy.
  • Fluency in English; French is a bonus.
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of financial principles (financial expertise is an asset but not required).
  • Proven experience leading international expansion projects and launching new product categories.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing business strategies that drive significant growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel across North America as needed to support business goals.
