Job Description:

What will you work on?
The person in this leadership role is accountable for network operations enterprise wide. The Sr. Manager / Architect Network Operations is responsible for the effective and efficient operational support of all third-party and internally managed network IT infrastructure used to support all business processes across the enterprise.. This individual is also responsible for operational service management processes to ensure quality, efficiency, productivity, and agility goals are achieved.

How will you create impact?

  • Provides oversight for the operations and support of network IT systems that fulfill the needs of the business, and provides input to the Director, ITS – Infrastructure & Operations as well as to peer direct reports responsible for other aspects of infrastructure & operations.
  • Leads the development of the operations aspects of the I&O strategy and roadmap and ensures its integration with the broader IT and enterprise strategic plans.
  • Works with business operations teams to ensure good coordination of IT changes without impacting business processes.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with other IT leaders to develop a clear understanding of business needs; ensures cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs and is able to respond with agility to changing business priorities.
  • Participates in the IT operations annual operating and capital expenditure budget for I&O and manages expenses to stay within plan.
  • Participates in the assessment of external and internal technology capabilities with a focus on suitability for integration with the existing IT operations environment.
  • Stays current on new technologies and service management practices and provides direction on what emerging IT operations technologies and methods should be introduced.
  • Supports the I&O sourcing strategy and provides oversight for vendor and partner relationship management.

What are your skills and experience?

  • Strong IT operations acumen, including cross-domain knowledge and preferably earlier career experience in an individual contributor role in IT operations.
  • Experience in budget planning and financial management.
  • Success in leveraging both traditional practices, such as IT service management, as well as emerging methods, such as DevOps, that are optimized for agility.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Preferably proven experience or demonstrated capability in leading IT operations teams in complex and dynamic environments requiring 24/7 support.

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in Ontario is $120,000 to $130,000 Per Annum. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
