Role

In this role you will own end-to-end learning programs and experiences that scale across Okta and/or multiple organizations within Okta, including establishing key success program metrics and goals, leading the content design process, managing relationships with external consultants and vendors, partnering with internal subject matter experts, People Business Partners, and key stakeholders, and establishing communication and scaling plans.

Results

  • Design, plan, implement and facilitate self-directed, virtual, blended, and in-person learning experiences in partnership with the Talent Management Team and People Business Partners
  • Own and Scale complex, ambiguous, and high visibility learning programs end-to-end
  • Applies instructional design methodology including needs analysis to uncover measurable behaviors required for the role, resulting in performance-based outcomes.
  • Iterate on program content based on employee and stakeholder feedback
  • Facilitate decisions based on multiple, often conflicting  perspectives
  • Establish key program metrics, milestones, and goals
  • Socialize, evangelize, and scale program content to employees
  • Track engagement and feedback of programs
  • Facilitate learning sessions and support learning program delivery to various levels across the business.
  • Up to 20% travel expectations within the United States, Mexico and Canada.

  • Work closely with program stakeholders and business leaders to deliver impactful employee development programs, fostering a collaborative approach to align with business objectives.
  • Thrive in a fast-moving environment with the ability to prioritize work as needed.
  • Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships across global teams, navigating diverse personalities and functional disciplines effectively.
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for teammates and leadership, ensuring all stakeholders are kept up-to-date on project timelines, milestones, and any potential changes.
  • Builds strong, trust-based partnerships and creates inclusive environments by cultivating diversity of thought.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • 6+ years in people/leadership development, program management
  • Organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Passion for learning and leadership development
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and sustain relationships
  • Solid and persuasive verbal, written and consulting communication skills, strong presentation skills
  • Anticipates challenges and problems and proactively takes action to address them
  • Adaptable with the ability to flex to frequently changing needs

Below is the annual salary range for candidates located in Canada. Your actual salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, RRSP with a match, healthcare spending, telemedicine, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in Canada is between:

$96,000$144,000 CAD
