SS&C Technologies Inc., a world leading provider of comprehensive investment management solutions and services is looking for an experienced individual to join the firm’s growing Sylvan implementation team in the role of Senior Investment Performance Consultant.  Sylvan is an evolving best-of-breed performance measurement, attribution and composites system that is in high demand and widely used around the world.

SS&C is the proven industry leader in integrated performance, attribution and analytics solutions used by asset managers, consultants, plan sponsors and intuitional investors.
As a member of the performance measurement team, the Senior Investment Performance Consultant will take on a leadership role in new client implementations. This includes conducting business operations reviews, defining business requirements, implementing the system and training.

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Leading implementations of new clients in areas of investment performance, attribution analysis, ex-post measurement risk and GIPS compliance   
  • Defining business requirements.
  • Conducting business operations reviews
  • Training and supporting clients during the implementation
  • Client relationship management and cultivating relationships with both internal and external partners
  • Keeping abreast of industry initiatives and market trends that impact the business
  • Leading projects to enhance calculation, reporting and analysis tools
  • Project Management
  • The senior consultant may also expect to be involved in product management, design and testing of new functionalities and various special projects. 

What You Will Bring:

  • Undergraduate degree in business/commerce or computer science
  • MBA, M.Sc., CFA and CIPM designation are strong assets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of French a requirement for the Montreal location
  • Minimum five years’ experience in the investment industry of which at least two years are in performance measurement and attribution analysis
  • Superb people skills, strong team-orientation, and a professional attitude
  • Strong organizational skills, work ethic, independent and self-motivated
  • Excellent Excel skills with VBA knowledge a plus
  • Knowledge of SQL or any programming skills a strong asset
  • Knowledge of supporting or implementing SS&C or other investment management systems is an asset.
