About the role

On the Project Strategy team we advise clients (you can see some of our clients on our website, including DoorDash, Stitch Fix, Uber, Tabasco and Stripe) on growth marketing strategy, identify resource gaps on their teams and determine together if Right Side Up can deploy the right marketing talent to help achieve their goals. Sometimes clients know exactly what they need, and sometimes they look to us to tell them what to do.

What you'll do

- Work with clients to understand their marketing gaps & opportunities & make recommendations for how RSU may be a resource for their needs

- Vet & recommend consultants from RSU to help the client achieve their objectives

- Shepherd opportunities from initial exploratory conversation through to the kick-off of new engagements

- Have a front row sear (and be a key contributor to) the inner-workings of some of the most impressive marketing programs across a range of industries, business models, and stages of maturity

- Build an incredible network with other marketing leaders, and hone your talent interviewing /evaluating skills across disciplines

Qualifications

- 4-8 years of experience in in-house marketing roles, and/or agency experience, focusing on growth

- Our greatest successes in this role have t-shaped backgrounds -- depth in performance marketing with strong marketing chops in channels like paid social and search, and breadth across other functional areas such as e-mail marketing or SEO

- Strong project management skills with an ability to juggle many constantly shifting priorities

- Ability to communicate effectively with and relate to clients

- A flexible mindset and willingness to work across multiple verticals and industries--our clients range from SAAS to CPG to D2C and beyond
