Job Description
CIMA+ is expanding its services in the Greater Golden Horseshoe (GGH) and across Ontario. Our Earth and Environment team is looking for a Senior Professional in Geoscience, Hydrogeology, and/or Environmental Engineering to lead complex, multidisciplinary projects. The team focuses on environmental due diligence, brownfield and site redevelopment, as well as physical and contaminant hydrogeology.
This role offers the opportunity to lead and manage high-impact environmental (Phase I & II ESA, Excess Soils Management, etc.) and hydrogeological investigations for complex multidisciplinary engineering projects. You will also be free to choose your workplace from one of our offices in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the preparation of proposals across Ontario, participating in the review of bid and pricing strategies.
- Manage project and lead technical resource on multidisciplinary engineering and construction projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution while maintaining the required quality and safety standards.
- Establish and oversee quality control procedures to facilitate production of accurate high-quality deliverables and ensure that industry standards and best practices are followed at every stage of the project.
- Mentor and train junior team members, ensuring work quality and timely deliverables.
- Verify and validate methodologies and conduct final technical reviews of reports for quality assurance.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks.
- Ensure seamless coordination between stakeholders and subcontractors involved in multidisciplinary projects.
- Maintain strong collaboration with internal departments and clients to support business development and team visibility.
- Demonstrate business development skills, including experience in establishing and maintaining productive relationships with a client base.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, earth science, or environmental engineering (required); Graduate degree (M.Sc., M.A.Sc., M.Env.) is an asset.
- Professional Membership: Full member of Professional Geoscientists Ontario (PGO) or Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) (required).
- Experience: Ten+ (10+) years of conducting environmental investigations (required).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding and application of applicable municipal, provincial, and federal regulations.
- Skills:
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication, including effective client interactions.
- Proven leadership in project coordination and execution.
- Commitment to technical excellence, quality control, and professional growth.
- Strong interpersonal skills for both independent and team work.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid Canadian driver’s license (required).
- Command of the French language (an asset).
