About the Team & Business Line:
Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.
Your Role:
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly valuation reporting for a portfolio of funds, including the determination of Net Asset Value and preparation of supporting financial statements.
- Independently complete and review cash, portfolio and capital reconciliations, and investigate and resolve any discrepancies and validate exceptions
- Analyze portfolio pricing to ensure consistency and reasonability of performance reporting
- Independently complete income and expense allocations including calculating asset based and performance fees
- Apply technical proficiency to support Fund Accountants in their tasks by troubleshooting issues in the valuation process and problem-solving as needed
- Operate as a contact point for clients; be able to respond to and resolve queries or escalate where necessary
- Assist the team supervisor with coordinating deliverables and completing a first level review of reporting deliverables
- Monitor compliance with various client service agreements
- Assist with new client on-boardingand new fund launches inclusive of review of fund documents to verify and validate operating terms, fees and compliance requirements
- Participate in the fiscal year end audit process and provide information to auditors as required
- Assist with ad hoc projects
About You:
- You have a University degree in accounting, finance, economics or professional accounting designation (CFA, CGA, CMA, CA, CPA).
- Experience working in the financial industry or public accounting for at least 2 years and an understanding of investment strategies and financials products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and client service experience
Proven ability to work in a challenging, professional, and fast-paced work environment
Salary Range: CAD 62,000 - CAD 82,000
