Senior Financial Analyst
The FP&A Senior Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the FP&A team by driving financial planning, reporting, and analysis. This role will contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes, long-range planning, and financial insights to support strategic decision-making. The analyst will collaborate with key stakeholders across Finance, Residential, IT, and Operations to ensure accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in financial processes.
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and possesses strong business acumen with a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role will also support process improvements and standardization to enhance the financial planning function.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Financial Analysis and Planning
- Conduct data-driven financial analysis across multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Leverage financial tools and Power BI to enhance reporting and automate manual processes. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual variance reports and analysis for Revenues and collaborate with various departments to articulate the drivers behind the trends.
- Assist in coordinating the annual budget, monthly forecasts, and long-range planning cycles Prepare regular financial schedules to support management reporting Work with teams to connect financial KPIs to operating KPIs for Enterprise Reporting.
- Support Management with the development of Corporate P & L reporting and financial metrics for decision-making.
- Support revenue and cost planning efforts, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Provide financial insights that support revenue optimization efforts.
Support for Residential License Fee Forecasting, Analysis
- Ensure adoption and integration of new cloud based financial tools and fee models, deal summary documents, adherence checklists, and training frameworks.
- Work collaboratively with Residential and other Finance stakeholders to help coordinate and then iterate upon Residential License Fee budgets, forecasts and long-range plans, and ensure accuracy in audit packages and backlog reports.
- Prepare summaries of the various Residential meetings that take place and articulate agreed-upon changes.
- Prepare and analyze variance reports (Actual vs. Budget vs. Forecast), identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
Process Improvement & Governance
- Work on projects to envision automation of Excel based tools.
- Collaborate with Finance teams to introduce new analytics tools and improve existing reporting capabilities.
- Assist business partners with financial governance process related to strategic initiatives
- Develop and maintain standardized dashboards and reporting templates for real-time decision support.
Ad-hoc Analysis and Special Projects
- Support strategic initiatives by conducting financial modelling, scenario analysis, and deep-dive reviews.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis, trend & sensitivity analysis and financial modeling as required to support business decision making and help answer spontaneous management questions.
- Assist Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis in developing and maintaining analytical tools.
- Assist on special projects and other assignments as required.
What You Bring:
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in Financial Analysis or relevant work experience.
- Any professional courses related to financial modeling will be a bonus.
- Undergraduate Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Math or Engineering.
- MBA or CPA is preferred, not required.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Experience with automation and advanced analytics is a plus.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems – Dynamic 365, EPM – One Stream or similar systems will be a benefit.
- Strong financial modelling skills.
- Process improvement mindset, eager to streamline workflows and improve financial data accuracy.
- Working knowledge of Revenue Recognition under IFRS or generally accepted accounting principles is an asset but not required.
- Stakeholder management experience, collaborating across departments to support strategic initiatives.

This role will be a Hybrid working model, which will require 3 days per week in the Four Seasons Corporate Office located at 1165 Leslie Street, Toronto, Ontario #LI-Hybrid
