As the Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A - Supply Chain, you'll join our Manufacturing Finance team and act as a key Finance partner to the business, providing objective insight and constructive challenge. Leveraging your strong FP&A capabilities, analytical thinking, and operational knowledge, you’ll partner cross-functionally with Freight, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Digital, and Retail teams to support operational decision-making and logistics cost optimization. This role is great for someone who can adapt to evolving priorities and support a range of business needs as Lush continues to grow and transform.

This role provides financial planning and analysis support for the North American business, supporting multiple departments with a focus on modeling risk and cost scenarios for key initiatives, driving freight and logistics cost optimization, partnering with manufacturing and distribution teams, and supporting the business in navigating an evolving trade and tariff landscape.

Reporting to the Manufacturing FP&A Manager, the Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A - Supply Chain undertakes the following RESPONSIBILITIES:

Freight and Distribution

  • Support Freight and Distribution leaders with forecasting (volume, labour, and cost inputs)
  • Deliver month-end analysis, variance reporting, and actionable insights
  • Develop dashboards and executive-level reporting on logistics KPIs
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics (e.g., cost per unit, throughput)
  • Build models to support operational and financial decision-making
  • Analyze monthly freight spend, carrier performance, and cost drivers
  • Own monthly accruals and invoice reconciliation (freight, brokerage duties)
  • Ensure alignment between actuals, forecasts and budgets
  • Provide variance analysis and actionable insights to finance and operations teams
  • Support RFQ processes, including data preparation, analysis, and recommendations
  • Identify and quantify cost-saving opportunities across carriers and brokerage
  • Provide benchmarking and market insights to support procurement decisions
  • Support distribution and freight team projects through analysis and insights
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives impacting logistics and supply chain
  • Develop business cases and scenario models for proposed changes
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Finance and Operations on cost reduction strategies
  • Lead or support assigned ad-hoc projects as per business needs.

Trade and Compliance:  

  • Track and analyze tariffs, duties and additional import costs on a monthly basis
  • Monitor and assess policy changes, trade agreements and tariff exposure risk to the business
  • Collaborate with Trade & Customs Compliance team on post entry corrections, product valuation and duty draw back opportunities, and report financial impact
  • Identify mitigation strategies (e.g., routing, sourcing, timing) to reduce tariff exposure and optimize cashflow
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment with trade compliance requirements

You bring the following QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • 5+ years of progressive FP&A experience
  • Experience in supply chain finance, with an understanding of operational dynamics and challenges is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data to a wide range of audiences
  • Excellent analytical, modelling, and problem-solving skills, with an in-depth knowledge of financial statements and drivers that impact them.
  • A proven, collaborative, and inclusive approach to business support.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex modelling and formula-driven analysis
  • Proactive approach and initiative, and ability to coach others to develop those skills in others.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure to achieve deadlines
  • Excitement and commitment to learn, understand, and relate to Lush’s core brand values.
  • Availability to work on-site 5 days per week, based on business needs.

This salary range is based on an assessment of the local market and may vary depending on the successful candidate's location. This range is based on base salary and does not include additional bonus program and total rewards eligibility.

Base Salary Range
$95,000$108,000 CAD
