Job Summary:
Primarily responsible for providing operational data and insights for assigned functions as well as company's Value Creation Strategy and any new strategic initiatives; this includes but is not limited to marketing funnel analysis, pricing opportunity assessments, detailed option analyses, house cost analyses, and overhead comparisons and benchmarking.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support current Value Creation reporting using existing suite of reports

  • Generate and publish various weekly and monthly financial reports (via Excel & OLAP based tools)

  • Provide ad hoc analysis support to Sales, Homebuilding and Marketing functions

  • Maintain, update and improve operations tools (i.e., pricing tools, should costing tools)

  • Assess overhead drivers to identify opportunities for improvement or benchmarking

  • Administer company forecasting process and financial planning system

  • Identify opportunities for best practice sharing across organization

  • Assist in building fact-based framework for new strategic initiatives

Required Education:

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent

Required Experience:

  • Related Functional Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years at a private industry and/or public accounting experience

  • Advanced technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e., pivot tables, advanced formulas, charting)

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting theory, practice, and financial reporting

  • Strong analytical skills (i.e. build and draw conclusions from large datasets)

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to organize and manage different projects simultaneously
