As the Senior Field Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for building a North American (NA) field marketing strategy that’s both thematic, repeatable, scalable and focused on pipeline progression and closing business. This role manages execution of various event types including but not limited to: sponsored conferences, membership activations and account-based event initiatives to continue our growth trajectory. The Senior Field Marketing Manager fosters alignment with sales leaders, campaign managers, and other internal stakeholders to drive and enable pipeline growth for the business. 

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with the Director of Field Marketing to design and execute the field marketing strategy, driving pipeline growth across the assigned North American region

  • Utilize reporting tools to communicate the performance of marketing programs and activities to Sales and Marketing stakeholders, aligning with agreed targets and performance metrics

  • Build repeatable processes that enable the Workiva business to scale across the assigned region

  • Grow field operations by hands-on execution while mentoring and coaching the team to maximize efficiency

  • Partner with Sales to develop targeted, thematic account strategies and pre/post-event sales enablement materials, accelerating pipeline and closed won opportunities

  • Lead the strategy for integrated field programs in partnership with other marketing teams, ensuring alignment with strategic market moments to extend reach

  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, vendors, and industry organizations to drive customer engagement and generate leads

  • Develop and implement measurement plans to evaluate the effectiveness of field marketing programs and campaigns, adjusting as necessary to optimize performance

  • Ensure all field marketing efforts are aligned with the company's overall brand, mission, and values

What You’ll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, with emphasis in marketing preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience in marketing

  • 6+ years of field marketing or closely related experience, which should include direct responsibility of field marketing services

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in designing and delivering a Business-to-Business (B2B) software-as-a-service (SaaS) field marketing framework is desired

  • Experience developing and executing successful lead gen and sales enablement marketing plans, specifically in account-based marketing (ABM) frameworks

  • Track record of collaborating with sales leaders, regional teams and other key stakeholders

  • Self-motivated, able to work autonomously and communicate with remote management for extended periods of time

  • Proficiency in Marketo and Salesforce, with the expertise to derive recommendations and informed decisions from the data

  • Strong demand generation experience building multi-touch, integrated campaigns 

  • Excellent strategic thinking skills with ability to make data-driven decisions

Travel Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Up to 40% travel 

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office

How You’ll Be Rewarded

✅ Salary range in the US: $106,000.00 - $172,000.00

✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually

✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire

✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
