The Senior Events & Sponsorship Specialist is instrumental in advancing Moneris' brand impact through exceptional events and meaningful sponsorship initiatives. In partnership with the Manager, Events & ESG, you will evaluate opportunities, manages execution, and support strategic partnerships that enhance engagement and visibility. You excel in organization, time management, and cross‑functional collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
Contract Term: 13 months.
Location: You will be based in our Toronto office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.
Reporting Relationship: You will report to Manager, Corporate Events and Sponsorship.

Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $67,000-$90,000.
Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
Your Moneris Career - What you'll do- Support the Manager, Corporate Events & Sponsorships in the review, evaluation, and execution of sponsorships and strategic partnerships.
- Manage and work with strategic partners, charity partners, and other business units with events, sponsorships, and ESG initiatives.
- Oversee events calendar by evaluating incoming requests from internal and external parties, manage event and sponsorship files, and develop and improve event processes.
- Create event and sponsorship briefs, develop event playbooks, work back schedules, and oversee events calendar.
- Measurement & Reporting: Evaluate, measure and improve existing event and sponsorship effectiveness through activations, social media feedback, attendee surveys and executing strategies to evolve digital communications integration with business.
- 3–5 years of experience in event management, sponsorships, and/or strategic partnerships.
- Experience coordinating corporate or industry events is strongly preferred.
- Basic knowledge in the payment industry is considered an asset.
