Artificial Intelligence. Actual Impact.

At Docebo, we’re using AI to change how people learn at work—and we mean actually change it. We’re an AI-powered learning platform that helps organizations create, deliver, and manage training all in one place. But our real mission goes deeper: we help teams move faster, work smarter, and focus on the work that truly matters. Our platform is built with intelligent, time-saving tools that personalize learning, eliminate busywork, and turn training from a checkbox into a superpower. The result? Better experiences for learners and real results for businesses.

We’re shaping the future of learning with a team that isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo. If you're excited by the idea of using AI to make work-life better for real people–you’ll feel right at home here. And it’s not just what we build, it’s how we show up. At Docebo, our values aren’t just posters on the wall—they guide how we work every day. We call it the Docebo Heart: trust by default, assume positive intent, and create space for different perspectives to thrive.

So… what are you waiting for? Join 900+ Docebians around the world and help us reinvent the way people learn, because learning never stops.

About the Opportunity:

At Docebo, we’re not just building learning platforms—we’re reimagining how the world learns in an AI-driven era. And we need a design leader who doesn’t just think outside the box, but redesigns the box entirely.

As our Senior Director of UX & Design, you’ll shape bold, human-centered experiences that blend usability, beauty, and innovation—raising the bar for an entire industry. You’ll guide our design strategy, build an AI-empowered, customer-first culture, and transform vision into measurable impact. This isn’t design for design’s sake—it’s design excellence as a competitive advantage.

If you love leading high-performing teams, pushing boundaries, and proving that design belongs at the very heart of business growth—you’ve just found your next adventure.

What You’ll Focus On
Craft the Big Vision (and Make It Real)
  • Define and drive a bold UX/UI transformation strategy that marries usability, simplicity, beauty, and innovation.

  • Align design vision with company goals and get exec-level buy-in to make it stick.

Build & Scale a World-Class Design Org
  • Reimagine a global design function with AI at its core, but unmatched human creativity as the differentiator.

  • Set the standard for product experiences that delight, inspire, and perform.

Data, Metrics & Measurable Impact
  • Lead a measurement-first culture—build frameworks for UX KPIs, usability metrics, adoption, retention, and win rates.

  • Connect design outcomes directly to business results.

Innovation & Trendspotting
  • Keep Docebo ahead of the curve by spotting industry shifts and emerging technologies.

  • Ensure our platform doesn’t just close gaps—it sets new market standards.

Design System Evangelism
  • Transform and champion our Design System as a strategic asset.

  • Drive consistency, accessibility, and development efficiency while inspiring Engineering and Product to see its value.

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Be the design voice in strategic-level discussions keeping focus on the user experience.

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to ensure design is a foundational pillar of how we build.

  • Demonstrate obsession with our customers by learning from our Revenue and Support functions to pinpoint key challenges.

Operational & Resource Leadership
  • Own the design budget, tools, and resources.

  • Scale smartly to fuel transformation initiatives and talent growth.

What It Takes to Be Successful

You’ve led the charge on big, complex design transformations before—and you thrived. You’re equal parts creative visionary and strategic business partner, able to speak the language of design and the language of growth in the same conversation.

  • Proven leadership in large-scale design transformations within SaaS.

  • Commercial acumen to tie design decisions directly to business outcomes.

  • Charismatic leadership style that inspires change and builds strong teams.

  • Track record of shaping culture, embedding collaboration, and driving continuous improvement.

  • Incredible at understanding the customer, and exceeding their expectations.

  • Proven at bringing cross-functional teams together, with the ultimate goal of serving the customer.

Education & Experience
  • 10–12 years in design, including 6–8 years in senior strategic leadership.

  • A portfolio showcasing not just design excellence, but organizational transformation.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.

  • Deep expertise in UX strategy, multidisciplinary team leadership, and Design System development.

  • Comfort with both qualitative insights and quantitative data to measure and prove design’s impact.

Who You Are & How You Operate

At Docebo, how you work matters just as much as the work you do. We’re looking for a leader who not only brings world-class design chops but also embodies the spirit that drives our culture forward.

  • Fun, Passion & Energy → You bring infectious enthusiasm to every interaction—rallying teams, inspiring creativity, and making collaboration exciting (yes, even in executive meetings).

  • Bold Vision & Creative Courage → You’re not afraid to challenge assumptions, push boundaries, and dream bigger—while still knowing when to balance innovation with pragmatism.

  • Customer-Obsessed → You live and breathe user-centered design. Customers’ needs aren’t just considered—they’re at the core of every decision you make.

  • Data-Informed, Not Data-Defined → You love metrics, but you know design is both science and art. You’re skilled at using insights to tell a compelling story and influence strategy.

  • Resilient & Adaptive → Transformation is never a straight line. You thrive in ambiguity, navigate change with grace, and keep teams motivated even when the road gets bumpy.

  • AI-First & Future-Oriented → You’re curious about emerging tech, especially AI, and love experimenting with how it can supercharge design without losing the human touch.

  • Collaborative Builder → You thrive in cross-functional partnerships, translating design into a shared language that resonates with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and beyond.

Why You’ll Love This Role

You won’t just be designing products—you’ll be designing the future of learning itself. You’ll get to build a high-energy, forward-thinking design culture that thrives on creativity, innovation, and measurable impact. And you’ll be surrounded by people who share your passion for transforming learning experiences worldwide.

At Docebo, inclusivity isn’t just a buzzword—it’s our culture. We celebrate different perspectives and empower every voice, because we know diverse teams design better, smarter, and more human-centered solutions.

✨ If you’re a design leader who’s equal parts dreamer and doer—ready to shape the future of UX with creativity, grit, and data-driven magic—we can’t wait to meet you!
