Zayo is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in network infrastructure, observability, and automation, with a particular focus on integrating and optimizing ServiceNow for enterprise IT workflows and incident management.
The ideal Senior DevOps Engineer candidate will have hands-on experience automating and optimizing cloud network technologies while leveraging ServiceNow’s powerful IT Service Management (ITSM) capabilities and AI-driven tools to enhance service delivery, business processes, and automation across the enterprise.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer with a ServiceNow focus, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement ServiceNow solutions, automate network operations, and drive proactive issue resolution using AI and machine learning technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
ServiceNow Integration & Workflow Automation:

ServiceNow Platform Development: Design, implement, and manage workflows and automation processes within ServiceNow, integrating network infrastructure and DevOps tools for improved incident management, change management, and service orchestration.

TSM & ISOM: Work closely with IT operations to leverage ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules to automate network and infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and remediation.

Incident & Problem Management:
-
ServiceNow Orchestration: Develop ServiceNow orchestration workflows to integrate with cloud-based services, network infrastructure, and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Python scripts).
AI & Automation Integration for Network Management:

Develop and implement AI-driven automation strategies within ServiceNow to optimize network fault detection, traffic routing, and performance monitoring.

Develop and implement serverless computing (Lambdas) & CI/CD Pipeline automation
-
Integrate ServiceNow with AI tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) to automate anomaly detection and issue resolution, improving network reliability and reducing manual intervention.

Leverage predictive analytics and AI-driven insights in ServiceNow to proactively detect and mitigate network performance bottlenecks or failures before they impact service.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Innovation:

Collaborate with DevOps, IT operations, and cloud engineers to integrate ServiceNow with other technology platforms, ensuring seamless workflows and operational efficiency.

Work with network engineers and AI/ML specialists to build automated processes in ServiceNow that improve overall network observability, security, and performance management.

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in ServiceNow automation and AI to propose innovative solutions that drive efficiency and enhance service delivery.
Experience & Qualifications:
Required Experience:
-
Minimum eight (8) years' experience in DevOps, network engineering, or IT operations, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure and automation.

Minimum three (3) years' experience with ServiceNow development, configuration, and integration, including ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, or orchestration modules.

Hands-on experience in Ansible, Python, and other automation frameworks.
-
Extensive experience in network monitoring and observability (e.g., Prometheus, InfluxDB, Grafana, ELK) and integrating these tools with ServiceNow for incident management and automated workflows.
Technical Skills:

Deep knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, ServiceNow Orchestration, and custom app development.

Expertise in network communications (e.g., TCP/IP, TLS/SSL, VLANs, VPNs) and hands-on experience with network devices (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).

Familiarity with cloud networking and services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SDN technologies.

Experience with scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Javascript for network automation and integration with ServiceNow.

Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, and ServiceNow Orchestration to streamline network and cloud infrastructure management.
Preferred Experience:

Certification in ServiceNow development or administration (e.g., ServiceNow Certified System Administrator).
