Role Overview

As a Senior Designer, you will play a key role in shaping compelling, brand-led creative across multiple channels. Working closely with the Design Director and cross-functional teams, you will bring strong conceptual thinking, craftsmanship, and attention to detail to a wide range of projects.

This role combines hands-on design execution with mentorship and collaboration. You’ll contribute to a supportive, inclusive team environment while helping elevate both the work and the people around you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver high-quality design across branding, identity, packaging, print, digital, POS, and OOH.

  • Partner with art directors, copywriters, developers, UX designers, and other collaborators to bring ideas to life across all touchpoints.

  • Translate strategic concepts into compelling visual solutions that align with client goals and brand voice.

  • Act as a steward of brand integrity, developing and maintaining brand guidelines and toolkits.

  • Contribute to concept development for campaigns, pitches, and ongoing client work.

  • Present design solutions clearly and confidently to internal teams and stakeholders.

  • Identify creative opportunities and solve complex design challenges with thoughtful, innovative approaches.

  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and project goals are met.

  • Stay informed on design trends, tools, emerging technologies, and AI-driven design tools.

  • Collaborate across disciplines, including architecture, industrial design, and UX, to extend ideas into non-traditional and immersive environments.

  • Contribute positively to team culture, fostering collaboration, inclusivity, and creative excellence.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5–8+ years of experience in a design role.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, craft excellence, and multidisciplinary work across print and digital.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Figma, with experience designing for web and mobile.

  • Familiarity with motion and presentation tools (e.g., After Effects, Keynote) is a plus.

  • Exposure to or interest in AI tools for design workflows; training and ongoing support will be provided.

  • Deep understanding of typography, layout, and visual systems.

  • Experience developing and applying brand identities and design systems.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions.

  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of production processes for print and digital, including working with vendors and developers.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and disciplines.

  • Demonstrated commitment to mentoring and supporting the growth of others.

The salary range for this position is $70K-$80K CAN. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills. A range of medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available to all permanent employees.
