Are you a passionate and experienced Data Product Owner ready to drive business value through innovative data solutions? Join Roche's PT Digital and Operational Excellence (PTE) organization as a Senior Data Product Owner!

At Roche, our 10-year Pharma vision is centered on delivering new data analytics solutions to scientists across Pharma Technical Operations (PT). PTE is catalyzing PT's digital transformation, activating data citizenship, and building a FAIR data ecosystem. In this role, you will be pivotal in building, maintaining, and sustaining data products that drive operational excellence and enable impactful decision-making for our patients' benefit.

The Opportunity

  • Define & Communicate Product Vision: Lead the vision and roadmap for data products, aligning with organizational goals and stakeholder needs.

  • Lead Data Product Development: Manage the full lifecycle of data products, from ideation to deployment, leveraging Roche’s IT/OT ecosystems for stable, automated solutions.

  • Drive Value Delivery & Prioritization: Develop prioritized product backlogs, guiding teams to deliver scalable, reusable data products that achieve measurable business outcomes.

  • Ensure Governance & Compliance: Guarantee data products adhere to Roche’s data quality standards, governance policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., data privacy, GxP).

  • Champion Collaboration & Mentorship: Act as a key liaison between business and technical teams, fostering harmonization and mentoring other Data Product Owners.

Who You Are:

  • 7+ years of industry experience in designing and delivering complex, high-quality data and analytics solutions in an agile environment.

  • 4+ years in a product owner, data analyst, or similar role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

  • Proven track record of data management on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake) and experience with product management/roadmap development.

  • Strong understanding of data architectures, data modeling, data integration (e.g., data mesh, data warehousing), and SDLC/CSV.

  • Excellent ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and lead teams in an agile setting.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technology-related field.

**Relocation benefit not available for this position**

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Mississauga is 136,936.00 and 179,728.50 of hiring range. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors as determined by the company.
