The Senior Cyber Analyst handles cybersecurity assessments for M&A, leads integration planning, coordinates cross-functional teams, and reports to stakeholders.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Cyber Analyst leads and coordinates cybersecurity assessment and integration activities for mergers and acquisitions (M&As), applying strong project management skills to plan, track, and report progress across business and technology teams. This role combines technical expertise with audit and assessment experience to ensure effective risk evaluation, issue resolution, and seamless integration. The analyst also manages external resources and drives continuous improvement in cybersecurity integration processes.
Responsibilities:
- Execute cybersecurity assessments of M&As, including risk identification and evaluation
- Manage end-to-end cybersecurity integration processes and activities.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional meetings, supporting customer due diligence efforts.
- Provide continuous updates and reporting to key stakeholders and senior management.
- Support the continuous improvement of integration approaches, cost models, and reporting practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
- 5 years of experience in cybersecurity project management, security risk assessment, audit, or third-party security risk management. M&A integration experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders across the enterprise.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CTPRP, CTPRA, ISSAP, or ISSEP is a plus but not required.
- Additional certifications in cybersecurity, risk management, or audit practices is a plus but not required.
- Minimum English level required: B2+ (CEFR) or above.
- Strong project management and budgeting experience in cybersecurity or technology.
- Ability to coordinate and manage internal and external team resources effectively.
- Expertise in information security, privacy domains, and process improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, negotiate, and manage relationships with stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and making decisions with incomplete information.
- Ability to work independently within a geographically dispersed team.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required. A minimum of B2+ level is required.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity M&A integration and third-party security assessments.
