About Us

Let’s go on an adventure together!

Hey there, we’re G Adventures. We’re one of the world’s leading small group travel companies, and we’ve always believed that travel isn’t just about where you go — it’s about how it changes you.

For the last 35 years, we’ve set out to do things differently. No cookie-cutter tours. No giant buses or cruise ships. And not to mention, as few selfie sticks as possible. Just real humans, travelling your heart out across the world with open minds and a non-stop desire to make our planet better, simply by exploring it.

At G Adventures, our DNA (or GNA, if you will) is built on belonging — where bringing your authentic self to work every day isn’t just accepted, it’s downright celebrated. For our office crew — you wanna rock a t-shirt with your dog’s face on it? We say go for it. For our Chief Experience Officers —  you wanna hit the road and call some of the most epic places on Earth your home office? We love that — and we’ve got you. Wanna spend your days with people you genuinely like? Us too — and we’re pretty sure you’ll fit right in, wherever that is.

Now about that career of yours — this is the kind of place where you can spread your wings and truly grow into your role. The best part? You get to do it all alongside a passionate, freakishly talented, one-of-a-kind bunch excited to produce top-notch work and spread a ridiculous amount of goodness at the same time.

Feel like this could be the right fit? We think so too, and we’re already way too excited to meet you.

About the Role:

Are you done cutting around interview subjects who speak exclusively in corporate non-answers? Same. Here at G Adventures you'll work with footage from some of the most interesting places on earth, with a team that actually trusts your instincts — and if you know how to shoot, there may be opportunities to travel with us and capture it yourself.

Your craft is defined by pacing and rhythm. You understand that a great edit is about emotional timing—knowing when to let a moment breathe and when to drive it forward. You ignore trends in favour of narrative purpose, and you have the guts to push our visual identity into new territory.

We're looking for a good person to join a seriously fun team. If that's you, you might be our next Senior Video Editor.

Before you apply: This role requires a portfolio submission. Applications without one will not be reviewed. Details at the bottom of this posting.

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Editing across a wide range of formats: paid ads, broadcast TV commercials, short social content, documentary, destination pieces, and everything in between.

  • Bringing strong editorial instincts to every project—pacing, structure, story, and sound.

  • Collaborating with a global creative team and helping elevate their ideas through video.

  • Contributing to the ideation process and bringing your own creative point of view.

  • Occasionally getting into the field to shoot, when the opportunity and skills align.

 Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of professional video editing experience.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.

  • A portfolio that demonstrates genuine range—emotional storytelling, high-energy edits, and platform-native short-form content.

  • Strong instincts for pacing, rhythm, colour grading, audio mixing, and sound design.

  • An understanding of how editing serves different platforms, audiences, and business objectives.

  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects without losing your mind.

  • A positive attitude, openness to feedback, and a willingness to take big swings and fail.

  • Working knowledge of After Effects for motion graphics, titles, and supers.

  • Experience operating cinema cameras and lighting in both studio and field environments
