What you'll be doing

In this role, you will report to the Director of GRC Reporting & Analytics. You are expected to have proven experience and knowledge of reporting best practices, analytics, and tools. Your primary responsibility will be to create insightful and meaningful reports that go beyond data. You will support the reporting needs of various lines of business (LOBs) within Chief Administrative Office and Global Technology, Data & AI (CAO/GTDAI). This involves leading the ideation, creation, and socialization of requested reports while applying an analytical perspective. Additionally, you will provide practical and cost-effective advice to management on designing, implementing, and enhancing reporting practices and automation capabilities. You will also serve as a resident expert for reporting-related inquiries. This position is vital for ensuring that reporting practices within CAO/GTDAI are efficient and aligned with the organization's strategic goals. The successful candidate will play a key role in transforming data into valuable insights that drive decision-making.

How you'll succeed

  • Reporting ownership - You thrive when you're empowered to take the lead, go above and beyond, and deliver results. Take end-to-end ownership of Executive GRC reporting and insights and provide strong consulting expertise to all business partners. Research and analyze CAO/GTDAI GRC performance to ensure consistency and clear communication.
  • Project management and process design - Look for ways to optimize and streamline processes to enhance efficiencies.
  • Strategic Thinker - Facilitate the development and process improvements to a suite of executive reports in order to provide management and executives with high level visibility into the respective lines of business within CAO/GTDAI. Demonstrate the ability to innovate and an aptitude to try new concepts, interpret themes and insights, and design an experience that makes complex insights more intuitive for users.
  • Strategic Advisor - Provide technical and operational expertise based upon detailed knowledge of reporting and key performance indicators to direct and influence senior management in the continued development of business insights and reporting environment.
  • Clear Communicator - You have impeccable communication skills. Your communication style is clear and concise, such that you establish yourself as a trusted advisor for all CAO/GTDAI GRC executive  reporting and insights. You inspire outcomes by making yourself heard. You have experience and are comfortable working with high-level executives in an advisory and reporting capacity and/or you have been in a client-facing role.
  • Relationship & Partner Management - Develop and maintain productive relationships with designated business owners, business line risk advisors, and lines of business partners to promote the exchange of best practices and process improvements.

Who you are

  • You can demonstrate minimum 3 years of experience in Executive and/or Governance Reporting and providing business insights. You have proven experience in reporting and analytics, a strong understanding of reporting best practices, and familiarity with various analytics tools. You find meaningful insights and design intuitive visualizations using Power BI and other BI tools. You are a leader who can take an idea right through to implementation as you collaborate with a diverse team to create and build flexible, innovative solutions that deliver a best-in-class experience. Ability to identify and strengthen key internal partnerships. Excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration, along with critical thinking abilities to provide actionable insights.
