ADAPTOVATE is a management consulting firm that helps organisations build the capability to adapt, innovate, and lead in dynamic markets. Our work spans the full journey from strategy to execution. We help clients design the right future state and operating model, and then work alongside them through the change required to make it real, combining strategic advisory with hands-on coaching and enablement.

We are a certified Great Place to Work, with a genuine commitment to the growth, development, and wellbeing of our people.

As a Senior Consultant / Project Lead, you will take a leading role in solving complex client challenges, shaping transformation programs, and delivering measurable business outcomes. You will work directly with senior client stakeholders, lead project teams and workstreams, and help clients identify where AI and emerging technologies can create meaningful business value.

In addition to leading high-quality client delivery, you will play an active role in growing ADAPTOVATE by identifying opportunities within existing accounts, supporting proposals and pitches, and helping develop new client relationships.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead consulting engagements and major workstreams from problem definition through recommendation, implementation, and adoption.
  • Partner with senior client leaders to understand strategic priorities, diagnose business challenges, and shape practical solutions.
  • Conduct and oversee market, industry, organisational, and operational analysis to identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Structure complex and ambiguous business problems and translate insights into clear, commercially relevant recommendations.
  • Lead work across business strategy, operating model design, process improvement, organisational transformation, and change.
  • Translate business priorities into practical AI use cases, transformation roadmaps, adoption plans, and measurable value opportunities.
  • Help clients design and implement AI-enabled solutions and process improvements that integrate effectively into their operating environment.
  • Bring practical knowledge of Generative AI and Agentic AI into client conversations and help senior leaders understand where these technologies can create value.
  • Lead workshops, executive discussions, and working sessions with confidence, helping teams align around decisions and actions.
  • Manage project delivery, including scope, milestones, risks, dependencies, stakeholder expectations, and output quality.
  • Coach and develop consultants and associates, providing clear direction, feedback, and support throughout engagements.
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and become a credible advisor to leaders across the organisation.
  • Identify opportunities to expand ADAPTOVATE's impact within existing client accounts and proactively contribute to account development.
  • Support business development activities including opportunity shaping, proposal development, pitch preparation, client presentations, and commercial discussions.
  • Contribute to building ADAPTOVATE's market presence through thought leadership, capability development, and development of new offerings.
  • Support clients in building internal capability, embedding new ways of working, and creating sustainable, data-driven, and AI-enabled cultures.

What is ADAPTOVATE looking for?

  • A strong management consulting foundation, typically with 8+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, transformation, or a fast-paced business environment, including significant client-facing delivery experience.
  • Experience leading consulting projects or major workstreams, with accountability for outcomes, stakeholder management, and team delivery.
  • Strong commercial awareness and an interest in contributing to business development, account growth, and new client opportunities.
  • Experience building senior client relationships and identifying opportunities to expand or deepen existing engagements.
  • Experience contributing to proposals, pitches, statements of work, or other business development activities.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for AI demonstrated through action — you have built something, automated a workflow, experimented meaningfully with AI tools, or developed a deeper understanding than the average productivity user.
  • The ability to connect AI and emerging technologies to real business problems, rather than viewing technology as an end in itself.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to bring structure and clarity to complex or ambiguous situations.
  • Experience across process improvement, operating model design, transformation, organisational change, or operational improvement initiatives.
  • Strong project leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high delivery standards.
  • A strong coaching mindset and experience developing junior team members and client teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and executive presentation skills.
  • Confidence working with senior leaders and challenging thinking constructively when required.
  • Highly adaptable, proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable working across diverse client environments and team structures.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

What does ADAPTOVATE offer?

  • Full-time employment contract
  • A generous EVP budget to support personal wellbeing, professional growth, training, or visits to our offices globally

  • Hybrid work model
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Employee Referral Program

Join us in shaping the future of management consulting. If you are excited by the opportunity to lead complex transformation work, build trusted client relationships, develop others, and help grow a global consulting business, we would love to hear from you.
