What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to the Director, Fusion Threat Intelligence, the Senior Consultant, Operational Intelligence is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Fusion Threat Intelligence team through timely collection, analysis, and dissemination of actionable intelligence. You will focus on monitoring and responding to emerging threats, supporting real-time incident response, and ensuring intelligence products directly inform risk mitigation efforts across Information Security, Corporate Security, and Fraud Management. A key component of this role is maintaining, developing, and enhancing documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), matrices, and guidance documents, to ensure operational consistency, knowledge transfer, and compliance with internal standards. Your expertise in operational intelligence methodologies and documentation will drive the team’s effectiveness, enhance situational awareness, and ensure recommendations are practical and relevant to end-users. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, contribute to process improvements, and maintain high standards for intelligence delivery.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Operational Intelligence Delivery – Monitor, collect, and analyze threat intelligence from multiple sources to provide timely, actionable insights supporting incident response and risk mitigation.

  • Incident Support – Actively participate in Fusion Centre operations, supporting investigations and response activities with operational intelligence and context.

  • Documentation Excellence – Develop, maintain, and refine SOPs, matrices, and guidance documents for intelligence operations. Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to support operational consistency, compliance, and knowledge sharing.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration – Partner with Information Security, Corporate Security, and Fraud Management teams to ensure intelligence products and documentation meet operational needs and drive effective decision-making.

  • Process Improvement – Identify opportunities to enhance intelligence workflows, tools, reporting, and documentation, contributing to the continuous improvement of operational practices.

  • Team Contribution – Share knowledge, mentor junior analysts, and foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

Who You Are

  • You can demonstrate knowledge in threat intelligence, specifically operational threat intelligence, (typically 6-8 years) and relevant postsecondary education (e.g. university degree or college diploma).

  • You can demonstrate exceptional ability to communicate in a clear, concise and logical manner, verbally and in writing; sufficient to convey complex information/ideas on issues involving interpretation and opinion, capable of ensuring senior leaders are kept aware of issues and provided informed and timely advice. 

  • You can demonstrate enhanced analytical capabilities sufficient to conduct a broad scope of intelligence analysis. Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
