What you'll be doing
As a Senior Consultant on the Enterprise Anti-Money Laundering (EAML) Training Team, you'll lead the development and implementation of training strategies that advance EAML’s strategic objectives. You’ll collaborate closely with team members and leaders to create impactful training materials, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency across all channels. Your expertise will guide the recommendation of effective training methods and approaches, aligning plans with organizational goals. You’ll take the lead in developing new policies and procedures for the team and participate in strategic projects, supporting regional teams to align with the EAML Training Team’s Centre of Excellence mandate. Your role is critical in conducting training needs assessments and assisting with the annual AML/ATF & Sanctions training plan for the Bank. By partnering with HR and the Risk Management Training team, you’ll help design and deliver results-driven training programs that empower EAML team members. Leveraging your professional, analytical, and communication skills, you’ll drive the success and continuous improvement of the EAML Training Team.

How you’ll succeed
Training Execution - Develop and deliver clear, impactful training programs that meet the needs of diverse audiences and support the Enterprise AML team and leadership.
Needs Assessment and Training Plan Creation - Work collaboratively with the Risk Management Training team, and EAML Advisory to conduct training needs assessments and contribute to the development of the annual EAML training plan.
Program Development - Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training solutions that align with current business and regulatory requirements.
Project Management - Apply your project management skills to lead and support key training initiatives
Policy and Procedure Leadership - Take a lead role in creating new policies and procedures for the team, ensuring they are aligned with the Centre of Excellence mandate and support a consistent, high-quality training environment.
Strategic Project Engagement - Engage in strategic projects, providing direction and supporting regional teams in the implementation of processes and best practices across the organization.
Business Knowledge - Remain up to date on evolving anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing (AML/ATF) laws and best practices, ensuring training content is relevant and supports a strong AML/ATF culture. Leverage strong Risk Management acumen to drive tailored training solutions.
Continuous Improvement - Gather and use feedback from training participants and stakeholders to refine strategies and identify opportunities for ongoing program improvement. Stay attuned to new and innovative training solutions.
Relationship Management - Build and maintain effective relationships with business partners and stakeholders to support the development and implementation of CIBC’s Enterprise AML/ATF Training Program and Framework. Use sound judgment, problem-solving, and critical thinking to provide valuable input and advice.
