What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to the Director, Digital Strategy and Implementation within Client Account Management (CAM), the Senior Consultant, Digital Strategy and Implementation is responsible for managing GenAI and ML initiatives, as well as developing digital channels and self-service capabilities for delinquent and pre-delinquent CAM clients. As the business lead for GenAI and ML initiatives, the Senior Consultant will collaborate with AI scientists and partners to drive efficiencies and effectiveness across CAM teams, leveraging technologies that benefit CAM clients.

You will manage existing digital channels and AI models, and lead or support strategic initiatives by conducting assessments to identify and quantify opportunities and gaps, overseeing projects from ideation through to implementation. You will facilitate discussions with internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts to achieve alignment and secure buy-in for CAM’s digital strategy and AI-related projects. You will work cross-functionally and regularly engage with senior leadership through presentations, showcasing the digital and AI roadmap, and representing CAM digital channels and AI as a subject matter expert. You will support or develop business cases to articulate project benefits and present initiatives for funding consideration. This role requires a high degree of autonomy and self-direction.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Advancing AI in Collections – Leverage experience with generative AI (GenAI) and machine learning (ML) to identify and develop use cases and proposals that enhance CAM resource effectiveness and improve client experience.

  • End-to-End Project Delivery – Demonstrate expertise in guiding projects from concept through assessment and business case development, to successful implementation.

  • Strategic Thinking – Develop and articulate a strategic vision for new digital capabilities, focusing on the end-to-end client journey. Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure initiatives deliver expected outcomes. Create compelling strategy presentations to secure stakeholder buy-in.

  • Partnership and Collaboration – Identify, prioritize, and influence backlog items to drive innovation in the client journey. Enhance digital strategies and technology capabilities across products. Establish a test-and-learn schedule for anticipated improvements and conduct periodic market research on digital adoption, AI tools, capabilities, and vendors that can benefit our LOB.

  • Product Owner in Digital Strategy and AI – Establish a long-term vision and scope for digital products and AI. Leverage client insights, analytics, and benchmarking to enhance the client journey, particularly for clients facing financial hardship. Design digital strategies and AI use cases that align with organizational culture and performance goals, utilizing data and system capabilities to empower front-line teams and deliver exceptional client experiences.

  • Analytical Approach – Collaborate with Analytics and Operational Strategy teams to monitor digital product performance, identify trends, and develop proposals to positively influence digital KPIs. Analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights and present findings to senior leadership. Work with partner teams to build or enhance reporting capabilities for tracking digital KPIs.

You possess a strong working knowledge of client-facing digital marketing strategies and key performance indicators (KPIs) that effectively drive and measure client engagement across digital channels. You excel in cross-functional environments, launching new projects and managing relationships at the senior executive level. You possess consultative or management experience and are adept at solving complex problems. Your working knowledge of strategic planning enables you to identify and develop impactful initiatives. You have a strong understanding of the collections business, with advanced technical skills to address complex issues independently. Your analytical and financial acumen allows you to interpret, analyze, and apply industry developments effectively.
