Organization: Industry Innovation & Co-Development Group (InnoCoDev)
This team will operate as a dedicated strategic function within Professional Services, working closely with Product Development, Sales, and Customer Success. Our mission is to accelerate the delivery of industry-wide solutions through strategic co-development partnerships with key customers. This initiative will establish a SWAT team within Professional Services to identify, cultivate, and operationalize these partnerships, demonstrating Guidewire Professional Services’ unique value proposition and capturing premium service opportunities.

Role Overview
As a Senior Solution Consultant, you’ll work at the intersection of technology and customer adoption, taking a lead role in shaping how customers adopt Guidewire Cloud capabilities. You’ll help ensure customers succeed by bridging business needs with solutions, mentoring junior consultants, and providing enablement support.

Job Description

 Key Responsibilities

●      Prototype, validate, and deliver innovative Guidewire Cloud features in real-world customer environments.

●      Work directly with customers to capture use cases, requirements and validate solutions.

●      Take ownership across the full technology stack, including backend and frontend development.

●      Provide feedback loops to Solution Architects and Product Development for continuous improvement.

●      Serve as a trusted partner to customers during their transformation journey.

●      Lead functional and integration workstreams on customer engagements, taking full ownership for design, delivery, and quality.

●      Mentor and coach junior consultants on Guidewire methodology, best practices, and technical delivery.

●      Design and estimate solutions for medium-complexity product gaps and enhancements, consulting with business and technical stakeholders to produce design documentation.

 

Qualifications

●      5+ years of experience in technology consulting, solution development, or P&C insurance delivery, including at least 1 year of hands-on Guidewire implementation experience.

●      Hands-on full-stack development experience, including modern software engineering practices such as CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing, and packaging.

●      Proven experience mentoring and assisting teammates, and contributing meaningfully to requirement and functional design documentation.

●      Strong communication and facilitation skills with both business and technical audiences, including project leadership stakeholders.

●      Experience translating requirements into actionable solution designs, and working software.

●      Demonstrated ability to accurately estimate and deliver project tasks with minimal guidance.

●      Ability to balance consulting finesse with technical competency.

●      Curious, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment.

●      Nice to have: Guidewire Ace certification, and experience leading a functional/integration area or contributing to Inception-phase design activities on an implementation project.

    The Canadian CAD base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000 - $119,000. Your base pay will depend on your experience, skills, education, training, and location among other factors. All full-time positions or part-time roles working 30 hours or more a week at Guidewire are eligible for benefits that support their health and well-being including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a company sponsored retirement plan. In addition, some roles may be eligible for the annual company bonus plan, commissions, and/or long term incentive awards which are contingent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, company and employee performance.
