This position is part of Sia’s Financial Services Business Unit based in Toronto. The responsibilities include the following:
Product Ownership & Agile Delivery
- Partner with business owners and subject matter experts to define epics, features, and user stories using Jira and SAFe Align
- Translate business objectives into clear, actionable requirements to support end-to-end solution delivery
- Own and maintain product backlogs, priorities, and sprint planning to ensure timely and value-driven execution
- Define strategic roadmaps, OKRs, and project timelines aligned to business outcomes
Project & Program Management
- Lead medium to large-scale initiatives using Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies
- Manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and regular updates to leadership and steering committees
- Identify, manage, and resolve project dependencies, risks, and delivery constraints
- Drive execution across the full SDLC, including technology integration, data migration, and automation initiatives
Regulatory & Capital Markets Transformation
- Deliver regulatory operations and automation initiatives within large financial institutions
- Support OTC Derivatives, capital markets, and regulatory programs through technology integration and process optimization
- Translate complex regulatory and business requirements into scalable system and process solutions
- Supported end-to-end trade reporting initiatives, bridging regulatory requirements, business processes, and technology delivery
Leadership & Change Enablement
- Manage and mentor teams of up to 5 resources, providing hands-on Agile coaching
- Introduce and embed Kanban and Agile practices, supporting organizational adoption and maturity
- Lead business process redesign, data governance standards, and automation efforts to reduce manual intervention
- 7+ years of experience in management consulting, financial services, or global banking environments
- Strong background in Product Ownership, Project Management, and Business Analysis
- Proven experience delivering capital markets, regulatory, and technology transformation projects
- Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies
- Experience with Jira, Align, SDLC frameworks, data governance, and system migrations
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience with program and project management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall ; collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, or other)
- Ability to quickly learn and conduct independent research; will need to apply new knowledge to own analysis and team management responsibilities
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables, work on multiple workstreams from inception through implementation and adhere to tight deadlines
- Strong Interpersonal skills, written & verbal communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders
