Overview of the role Boyd Interactive is looking for a Senior Compliance Analyst to work alongside the Manager of Compliance in maintaining the full compliance product & platform lifecycle – from ideation, design, functions, and delivery – all with a view to ensure compliance with municipal, provincial and federal laws/regulations. As a trusted support member of the Compliance Department, the Senior Compliance Analyst is required to have in-depth knowledge of gaming-related regulations and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams while advising on regulatory requirements.
The Senior Compliance Analyst will assist with the oversight of compliance and regulatory-related issues and support Compliance in ensuring all products and services from Boyd Interactive meet compliance standards. This individual will be responsible for maintaining compliance-related documentation, policies, and procedures, and ensuring that compliance best practices are followed across all functions of the organization.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Assist with the review, maintenance, and implementation of Responsible Gaming & Anti-Money Laundering (AML) activities and data analysis for all jurisdictions that we operate in, including related regulatory submissions
- Assist with the review and management of submission of required regulatory reports for all jurisdictions
- Coordinate with clients for completion and submission of regulatory reporting
- Coordinate with clients and vendors to identify and document technology and regulatory requirements, including reviewing and assessing technical and security posture documentation and audit reports
- Assist with drafting, implementation and review of internal policies and procedures, including but not limited to AML, Responsible Gaming, Regulatory and Technology Security policies
- Monitor internal fraud detection systems for suspicious activity and coordinate fraud reporting and analysis as required
- Assist with the development and implementation of mitigation plans in response to regulatory or platform incidences
- Coordinate communications between the business and various State, Provincial and Federal regulators
- Coordinate and conduct periodic assessments – platform certification, security assessments, internal audits, external audits, etc.
- Responsible for the maintenance of CAMs for regulated environments
- Support the implementation of compliance training programs for employees
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, and participate in strategic and operational meetings
- Monitor compliance implementation and adoption between various internal teams
- Research and keep up to date on all regulatory requirements for North American jurisdictions
Functional Competencies – Skills, Knowledge, & Experience
- 5 years casino experience (i.e. retail and online)
- Proven working experience in a compliance function within a regulated industry
- Experience participating in or conducting internal audits
- Ability to adapt to constantly evolving market and regulatory requirements
- Ability to interpret regulations and recommend implementation requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research abilities
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking
- Willing and able to be licensed with gaming commissions in all jurisdictions, including clearing all necessary background checks and filing personal information
- Experience filing reports with FINCEN, FINTRAC, etc. is preferred
- Legal operations background in gaming regulations, compliance and licensing is a bonus
- Superior written and verbal communication, listening and presentation skills to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of an organization.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
- AML certification such as CAMS considered an asset

Salary Range: [The salary range for this position is $75,000 – $105,000 CAD]
