Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

You will be accountable for the planning, writing, content development and execution of internal communications related to all communication initiatives, including Moneris’ corporate strategy, Executive support, employee communications, education, and engagement across the company. You will support enterprise events, including Office of the CEO events to keep employees informed and engaged regarding Moneris’ priorities.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to Senior Manager, Internal Communications

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

  • Support the development of strategic internal communications programs for Moneris specifically related to the corporate strategy and Human Resources initiatives and programs aimed at internal audiences. 
  • Plan, manage, and execute enterprise-wide Town Halls and updates for the Executive Leadership Team. 
  • Support the Senior Manager, Internal Communications with the planning, writing, editing, of main communications as required by the CEO and Executive Leadership team (ELT). Collaborating with External Communications to ensure consistent messaging, brand, and tone of communications across all channels including digital. 
  • Work with the HR Leadership team on companywide communications 
  • Support other ELT on specific functional, enterprise communications, on a project basis.
  • Build a working relationships with important partners, and leadership, across the organization and provide strategic counsel on communications to ensure consistent messaging and voice across teams.
  • Provide expertise in reviewing and editing different communications on an ad hoc basis. 
  • Evaluate, measure, and improve communications effectiveness and support communications processes and measurements. 
  • Provide support for maintaining an Intranet site that captures centralized communications and information, including working with Technology teams to enhance and evolve the site. 

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience. 
  • Experience measuring communications effectiveness, planning and strategy. 
  • Proficient and knowledge with Microsoft Windows/Applications, Microsoft and SharePoint. 

Nice-to-have...

  • Experience with graphics production and desktop publishing an asset.
  • Bi-lingual in English and French, an asset.
