The Senior Commercial Manager will play a key role in driving the commercial success of the company by overseeing and managing all aspects of our commercial activities. As a Senior Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective commercial strategies, negotiating contracts, and fostering strong relationships with clients and partners. This position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in commercial management and a deep understanding of market dynamics.
ResponsibilitiesJob Duties
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies aligned with the corporate's overall objectives.
Contract Negotiation and Management:
- Lead negotiations with Contracting Authorities to secure favorable terms and agreements during contract review and application of contractual clause
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and manage contract performance, identifying and mitigating risks as needed.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Contracting Authorities
- Work closely with internal business department to ensure compliance with contractual requirement
- Act as a liaison between the company and external entities, fostering positive relationships to drive business success.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze financial data to assess the profitability and performance of commercial activities.
- Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators, financial metrics, and commercial effectiveness.
- Collaborate with finance teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
Team Leadership:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the commercial team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
- Conduct performance reviews and identify opportunities for professional development within the team.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting commercial operations.
- Implement and enforce compliance policies and procedures.
- Identify and manage potential risks associated with commercial activities.
Qualifications:
- 10 plus years of proven experience in a senior commercial management role, with a track record of success in developing and implementing commercial strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- In-depth knowledge of market trends, industry regulations, and competitive landscape.
