Xylem is hiring a Sr. Capital Accounts Manager!

Position Summary

The Senior Capital Account Manager is responsible for selling process & wastewater capital equipment and solutions to assigned industrial markets critical to the organization in terms of sales volume or market share growth, acts as single point of contact for customers in eastern half of Canada. The focus is on driving revenue and client retention by building consultative relationships, understanding customer industry and business needs and offer bold and innovative solutions.

 

Core Responsibilities & Tasks

•    Contacts both new and existing customers to sell new and recurring business        
•    Creates and delivers quotes and proposals to deliver to customers        
•    Ensures customer satisfaction and retention        
•    Accurately records information in CRM for forecasting        
•    Continues to stay up to date on company and customer technology to remain a trusted partner in order to influence BID specifications        
•    Facilitates new customer engagements (Webinars, Lunch & Learns, Trade Shows, etc.)
•    Extremely complex sales of products and services; utilizes strong knowledge of products, services, and industry to evaluate and recommend best solutions to customers        
•    Other duties as assigned

 

Position Requirements

FORMAL EDUCATION: 
Required:

BS/BA or Masters in related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required: 

•    10+ years of sales experience and wastewater treatment industry related experience
•    Intra-departmental communication for purpose of alignment/information sharing
•    Advanced individual contributor with mastery of sales techniques
•    Strong communication skills

•    Utilizes knowledge of wastewater industry to recommend updates or changes to product / service offering
•    Ability to complete sales with no supervision
•    Proven ability to identify and cultivate sales from new and/or existing customers
•    Must have an acceptable driving record to be insurable to drive for company business
•    Basic understanding of ERP and CRM systems
•    Fluency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)

 

Additional Details

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 50% to 60%

Salary: The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 to $170,000 CAD plus sales incentives. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.  At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package.
