Senior Business Systems Analyst

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will work closely with our technology teams and business partners to develop a cutting-edge, next-generation trade execution system and book of record. Key Responsibilities

• You may be involved in the build or enhancements of client management, trading, transaction processing, transfer management, or integrations with internal and external systems.
• Liaise within our business and technology teams for requirements gathering.
• Liaise with our application architecture teams for solutions design.
• Strong ability to debug, reverse-engineer, and document.
• Ensure solutions are lightweight, optimized, and maintainable.
• Assist with the preparation and testing of new features or releases.

What You Will Bring

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in .NET C#, SQL.
  • C++, Java, React, Node JS an asset.
  • Familiar with GIT, Source Control features (branching/merging), and CI/CD pipelines, Atlassian Confluence, Jira.
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Software Development methodology, multi-threading and Concurrency.
• Preferred Experience:
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.  Ideally in the brokerage/securities financial industry.
  • Experience with brokerage book of record systems an asset.  (ISM, BPS, Dataphile, RPM R-Broker, Univeris, etc.)
  • Experience interacting with the markets via CDS, DTC, FundServ, Cannex, Euroclear, Swift, etc.
