Copy.ai is a fully remote company. All employees must be able to work 9am-5pm in their timezone, Pacific to Eastern.


As a Senior Business Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence across the company. You will work closely with sales, engineering, and product teams to improve processes, manage projects, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This is a highly autonomous role that requires a proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in ambiguity.


You will report to our cofounder, and you will be a highly visible contributor with the opportunity to lay the foundation of our scaling startup.

What you'll do:

  • Identify Operational Inefficiencies: Proactively analyze current operational processes to pinpoint areas of improvement across all departments.
  • Develop Policies and Procedures: Create and implement operational policies that support the company's rapid growth and scalability.
  • Lead Key Initiatives: Drive essential projects such as SOC2 Type II compliance, ensuring all milestones and deliverables are met on time.
  • Streamline Onboarding/Offboarding: Enhance the onboarding and offboarding experiences for team members by refining procedures and documentation.
  • Oversee Vendor Relationships: Manage engagements with vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring they meet company needs.
  • Manage Billing and Collections: Oversee financial transactions with vendors, including timely payments and handling any discrepancies.
  • Implement Best Practices: Stay updated on industry trends to introduce innovative solutions that enhance efficiency.
  • Educate Team Members: Provide guidance and training to colleagues on new processes and tools.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements and ensure company operations adhere to necessary standards.
  • Optimize Tools and Technologies: Evaluate and implement tools that enhance operational capabilities and productivity.

About you:
