What it’s like to be a Northbridge Senior Business Analyst

Our Senior Business Analysts play a crucial role on our Business Analysis team. They are largely responsible for analyzing problems and executing solutions for many projects, with a number of different business areas.  They do this by using their skills in planning, elicitation, requirements management, strategic analysis, design, and solution validation.

Working in a highly collaborative team and fast-paced environment, this individual will work closely with stakeholders and senior business leaders to identify strategic and innovative uses of technology and processes to drive business growth, profitability and efficiencies. They will be passionate about mentoring junior analysts and foster an environment of creative thinking. They will employ business intelligence and analytical techniques for data management while participating in application design and quality assurance throughout the life cycle of the project - to ensure risks and impacts are correctly mitigated.

We want your talent

If you are great at:

  • Organization and time management, with the ability to manage multiple and changing priorities

  • Taking initiative and employing appropriate decision making

  • Recognizing unrelated problems and implanting an appropriate solution

  • Building strong relationships with both internal and external business contacts

  • Developing and preparing business analysis documentation and planning

If you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree /or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience in the Insurance industry and knowledge of Property and Casualty in particular

  • Advanced knowledge and skill within Microsoft Office, especially in Power BI and Excel

  • CIP/FCIP designation is an asset
