We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Business Analyst to lead business analysis initiatives and drive process improvements for our client in a consulting capacity. This role involves partnering with senior stakeholders, mentoring junior analysts, and ensuring that business requirements are translated into effective solutions that support organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the collection, analysis, and documentation of complex business requirements from senior stakeholders.

  • Conduct thorough business process reviews and recommend innovative solutions for optimization.

  • Develop comprehensive functional specifications, business cases, and process flows for proposed solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and executive management, to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and meetings to elicit and validate requirements.

  • Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinate defect resolution, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • Prepare and maintain clear, detailed documentation, including requirements, process maps, and training materials.

  • Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering best practices in business analysis and project execution.

  • Monitor and report on the performance of implemented solutions, recommending further enhancements as needed.

  • Act as a subject matter expert in business analysis and process improvement methodologies.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.

  • Extensive experience with process modeling and requirements management tools (e.g., MS ADO, MS Visio, JIRA, Confluence).

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

  • Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall project environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to ERP or other enterprise systems.

  • Business analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is desirable.

Duration: 4 months (strong possibility of extension)

Location: 1 day a week onsite
