This role will partner with stakeholders across all areas of the organization to document processes, gather and validate business requirements, and support the design, testing, and delivery of system enhancements. The role will help ensure that Finance processes are efficient, data-driven, and aligned with the enterprise operating model.

The successful candidate will bring a strong techno-functional skill set, capable of understanding both the technical architecture of OneStream and the underlying financial processes it enables. This individual will act as a bridge between business users, the Finance Product Owners, and Technology (TID) teams to ensure enhancements deliver measurable business value and support standardization across the enterprise.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Requirement Analysis & Solution Design

  • Lead workshops, interviews, and documentation reviews to elicit, analyze, validate, and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements for OneStream modules.
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, and process flows (current state and future state).
  • Perform gap analysis between existing Finance processes and OneStream capabilities, proposing effective solutions and configurations.
  • Map data flows, integrations, and dependencies across systems (OneStream, ERP such as Dynamics 365, Data Warehouse, BI tools).

Project & Delivery Management

  • Collaborate with development, QA, and implementation teams throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
  • Define and execute system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) strategies; manage defect resolution and validate results.
  • Support the Product Owners in maintaining the Finance systems roadmap, enhancement backlog, and governance processes.

Stakeholder Management & Training

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Finance stakeholders, Product Owners, and technical teams.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and workshops for end-users and key stakeholders on new OneStream processes and features.
  • Ensure alignment of proposed solutions with organizational strategic goals and industry best practices.

What You Bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in business analysis and financial systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proven experience with OneStream or similar EPM platforms.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts, system integrations, and data flows.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Agile frameworks and experience with tools like Azure DevOps.

Key Skills/Who You Are:

Core Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills

  • Ability to extract, define, and document business rules and requirements using interviews, workshops, and observation.
  • Proficiency in analyzing financial data, validating data integrity, and leveraging tools like advanced Excel or SQL.
  • Capability to document and redesign Finance processes.
  • Identifying differences between current and desired states and evaluating financial justification for solutions.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences (technical teams, executives, end-users).
  • Leading effective meetings, managing stakeholder expectations, and negotiating priorities.

Technical & Tool Proficiency

  • Hands-on experience with OneStream (preferred) or similar platforms (Hyperion, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and integration points.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with Power BI and data visualization.
  • Understanding of data structures and ability to write basic queries.
