Job Description: 

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to support the Finance organization through our NetSuite reimplementation. This role will reside in the Finance organization, and is responsible for business process documentation, requirements gathering, functional coordination, testing support, user enablement, and ensuring Finance needs are properly translated into system configuration and project decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Documentation

  • Collaborate with NetSuite Professional Services and Finance stakeholders to gather, refine, and document business requirements across all Finance functions (GL, AP, AR, FP&A, Fixed Assets, Revenue, Tax, etc.).
  • Create detailed documentation for all process and system changes resulting from this project, including process maps, user stories, functional requirements, workflows, and gap analysis.
  • Maintain an organized repository of project documentation.

Business Process Analysis

  • Support end‑to‑end process review and redesign efforts to align with system best practices and robust control environment.
  • Identify inefficiencies, suggest improvements, and help the Finance team adopt optimized procedures aligned with out of the box NetSuite best practices.
  • Assist with change impact assessments and cross‑functional dependency analysis.

Project Coordination

  • Act as a liaison between Finance, IT, external consultants, and cross‑functional workstreams, in close coordination with the Project Manager.
  • Lead and coordinate workshops, requirement sessions, testing cycles, and training activities for Finance users.

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Assist Finance in developing test cases, test scripts, and validation criteria.
  • Coordinate and participate in end-to-end UAT, ensuring Finance scenarios are thoroughly tested.
  • Document defects, work with technical teams to resolve issues, and retest as needed.

Data & Migration Support

  • Assist Finance with data cleansing, validation, and mapping activities.
  • Validate migrated financial data during test cycles and at cutover.

Training & User Readiness

  • Develop or support creation of Finance training materials, job aids, and reference documentation.
  • Provide hands‑on support to Finance users through training, Q&A sessions, and post‑go‑live stabilization.

Go‑Live & Post Go-Live Support

  • Assist Finance during cutover planning and execution.
  • Provide go-live and post go-live support to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Document lessons learned and areas for future optimization.

Qualifications

Required

  • Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, supporting multiple NetSuite implementations or ERP‑related projects.
  • Understanding of Finance processes such as procure‑to‑pay, order‑to‑cash, financial close, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Excellent documentation skills (process maps, requirements, test scripts, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate Finance needs into clear functional requirements.
  • Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with Finance, IT, and external partners.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite functional modules.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.
  • Experience in change management or training support.
  • Experience supporting ERP implementations; NetSuite experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.

Contract Expectations

  • Full-time role dedicated exclusively to the NetSuite reimplementation project.
  • Duration aligned with the ERP project lifecycle (12 months depending on scope).
  • Availability for workshops, testing cycles, and period-end activities as required.
