Overview
The Ethoca Bizops team is looking for a Senior BizOps Engineer to drive our employee experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.
Role
In this position, you will:
• Support a highly available, highly secure, hybrid production environment running on Linux systems in public cloud and on-prem deployments using various tools and applications
• Assist in datacenter support including racking and cabling and/or directing remote-hands
• Create technical documentation including design documents, standards and procedures
• Perform daily monitoring and maintenance of all hardware/software infrastructure components including servers, virtual machines and storage area networks
• Work efficiently within a highly secure environment (Ethoca is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified)
• Communicate clearly and effectively to all levels of the organization and with external partners
• Participate in the Ethoca Bizops on-call rotation as our infrastructure runs 24/7 365
All About You
• Technical experience in a 24/7 production environment
• Advanced/Intermediate Azure public cloud experience
• Advanced virtualization experience including VMware/OpenStack administration, design, and architecture
• Advanced monitoring IT infrastructure systems and services
• Intermediate SAN experience (Fiber Channel, switching, NAS)
• Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent experience
