Digital Design Coordination

  • Lead BIM coordination across multidisciplinary rail and transit design workstreams, including Track, Signaling, Electrification, Overhead Contact System (OCS), Utilities, Structures, and Civil disciplines.
  • Coordinate federated models and lead clash detection and resolution activities to support coordinated and constructible design deliverables.
  • Identify, track, and facilitate resolution of interface issues between disciplines, escalating complex or high-impact risks when required.
  • Coordinate BIM deliverables supporting project design reviews and milestone submissions, ensuring models meet established quality and readiness requirements.
  • Facilitate multidisciplinary coordination meetings, document actions, and track issues through to resolution.

Digital Delivery & Quality

  • Maintain and promote compliance with project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), digital delivery standards, and model quality requirements.
  • Perform model validation and quality assurance reviews to ensure consistency with project standards and client requirements.
  • Support the implementation of Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows using approved digital delivery platforms.
  • Monitor coordination progress and prepare reports on clash status, interface resolution, and model readiness for project leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve coordination workflows and digital delivery processes to enhance project efficiency and reduce downstream rework.

Technical Leadership

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate BIM professionals.
  • Support project teams in applying BIM standards, coordination workflows, and digital engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with Digital Delivery leadership to continuously improve BIM processes and project delivery.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience performing model federation, clash detection, and clash resolution for multidisciplinary engineering projects.
    • Experience supporting digital design reviews and project milestone submissions.
    • Experience working with Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, or ProjectWise.
    • Working knowledge of BIM standards, including ISO 19650 principles and digital delivery best practices.
    • Experience supporting large, complex rail or transit infrastructure programs.
    • Experience coordinating Track, Signaling, Electrification, Overhead Contact System (OCS), Civil, Structural, or Utility design disciplines.
    • Experience integrating BIM and GIS workflows.
    • Experience using Power BI or similar data visualization tools to support project reporting.
    • Experience developing or implementing BIM standards, templates, and quality assurance processes.
