Responsibilities:
Prepare or detail review international components of complex tax returns
Demonstrate solid understanding of tax codes, regulations, rulings and case law
Provide detail review and training staff
Dedicates time to coaching others in tax software, business process, research skills, technical expertise, planning and project management skills while engaging and motivating team members and providing timely feedback
Responsible for client work being performed on time and within appropriate scope of services and budget
Stays alert to client needs that may result in growth opportunities for the firm and communicates to client service coordinator
Required Qualifications:
Requires a minimum of BA/BS Degree – preferably in Accounting or related field of study
Requires a minimum three (3) years of experience in Public Accounting m
Comprehensive understanding of tax law/rules and implications
Requires experience with International Tax compliance including, but not limited to forms 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858 and 1118
Ability to travel to client sites as needed, some to require overnight accommodations
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA, JD or LL.M.
Experience with a national or large regional accounting firm
Strong verbal and written communication skills

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $67,000 - $107,000Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
