About the Role

Clearco is looking for a Senior Associate, Capital Markets & Corporate Treasury to sit at the center of our capital strategy, portfolio reporting, and funding facility operations.

This is a high-visibility position working directly with our VP, CEO, investors, and Board of Directors. You will own day-to-day borrowing base calculations, cash liquidity forecasting, and financial modeling to support the business's long-term growth and future capital endeavours.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Own asset-level reporting: maintain loan-level data, prepare the portfolio data tape and confirm every receivable ties to source systems

  • Own portfolio-level reporting: originations, collections, delinquency, charge-offs, actual versus expected cash collections, IRR and MOIC, for lenders, leadership and the Board

  • Prepare and deliver the daily pledge package for the funding facility, including the assignment of receivables

  • Run the borrowing base and waterfall calculations each period and prepare the related servicing fee invoices

  • Reconcile lender, custodian and verification agent reports to asset-level data and resolve breaks

  • Track facility covenants and reporting deadlines and prepare compliance reports

  • Manage daily cash positions across entities and bank accounts and maintain the weekly cash and liquidity forecast

  • Build models and data room materials for new facilities, upsizes and other capital raises

  • Provide portfolio data to the Associate, FP&A, for the monthly BvA and the Board deck

  • Collaborate with all Finance team members on shared deliverables, including month-end close, audit, tax, the annual budget and Board materials, and cover for teammates during absences and peak periods

You will thrive if you have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in capital markets, structured or asset-based finance, or corporate treasury at a lender, fintech, bank or advisory firm

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; CFA or CPA (or progress toward either) is an asset

  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills

  • Working knowledge of credit facility mechanics: borrowing bases, advance rates, eligibility criteria and payment waterfalls

  • Experience working with large loan-level datasets; SQL or Python is an asset

  • Experience preparing reporting for external parties such as lenders, banks or agents

What we offer:

  • Comprehensive healthcare and dental coverage

  • A tech stipend

  • Mental health support and professional development opportunities in a culture that emphasizes work-life balance and transparency

  • The chance to participate in high-impact work at a mission-driven organization

  • RRSP Matching
