Job Description

As a Senior Analyst, Rewards, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the competitiveness and effectiveness of our organization's compensation and/or retirement and benefits packages. You will be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and administering various aspects of compensation and benefits programs to attract, retain, and motivate employees while aligning with organizational goals and industry standards.

Team Description

This position will be part of the Total Rewards team that develops, implements, and manages retirement and benefits programs that promote employee health and well-being, as well as compensation programs. It will report to the Director of pension & benefits and be based in Toronto.

Accountabilities

  • Support the Total Rewards team with various tasks and analysis during regular Talent cycles: market benchmarking surveys, year-end salary, incentive compensation processes, executive compensation reporting, tracking of exceptions and testing systems and statements.
  • Independently perform compensation and benefits administrative/process functions, including enrolments, termination, reporting, calculations, file management and invoice tracking.
  • Produce and deliver reports to various teams across Talent and key business stakeholders to support benefits, pension and market data analysis for all jurisdictions/offices.
  • Provide support by addressing operational questions or facilitating discussions with relevant subject matter experts until issues are addressed.
  • Participate in compliance efforts related to total rewards programs and time-off practices, including monitoring changes in legislation, and ensuring timely updates to policies and procedures.
  • Participate in system implementations including testing, as related to compensation and benefits, as well as reviews of programs and policies.
  • Support the Compensation team with annual benchmarking surveys submissions.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and work with the broader Talent team to implement changes.
  • Aid in the development of employee communication materials and business user guides for rewards programs.
  • Collaborate with global partners to provide support for annual renewals and campaigns.
  • Aid in the management of vendor relationships including tracking timelines and invoices.
  • Facilitate cyclical executive benefits program and support Pension Committee activities.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or college diploma in related field
  • 1+ years of relevant experience with subject matter or data analysis.
  • Practical experience using MS Office applications including excel; Experience working with additional systems (HRIS, Workday, ADP) an asset.
