As we embark on a strategic digital transformation journey, the role of Sr. Analyst, Supply Chain Planning Process will be pivotal in modernizing our supply chain planning capabilities across McCain Foods. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Planning Transformation, the successful candidate will support the Supply Chain planning process throughout the implementation of best-in-class technology. They will be an experienced professional in this field and will work with the Supply Chain Planning Transformation team to link all solution design decisions to the globally consistent process. This critical team member will need to step in, roll up their sleeves, and get into the details of solution design and implementation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Gather and analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support supply chain decision-making.


Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the supply chain planning framework.
  • Design, implement, and monitor process changes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.


Demand and Supply Planning:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop accurate demand forecasts and supply plans.
  • Utilize forecasting tools and methodologies to predict future product demand.


Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics, production, and sales to align supply chain activities with business goals.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.


Inventory Management:

  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and availability.
  • Implement inventory control measures to prevent excess stock and stockouts.


Technology Utilization:

  • Leverage technology and supply chain software to streamline planning processes.
  • Provide training and support for SCM tools to other team members.


Performance Measurement:

  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and develop action plans to address any issues.


Required Experience and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 years of supply chain planning or related experience
  • Experience with successful deployment of ERP and/or planning technology as a business SME ( e.g. SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis,etc )
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma is a plus.


This role can be based out of any of our NA Corporate offices -- Chicago, Toronto, or Florenceville, New Brunswick.
