Salary range (but not limited to):
87,200 - 106,600Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
Salary range in Toronto (but not limited to): $89,700 - $109,700
We’re looking for a Senior Analyst*, Actuarial, to join our growing team!
* A candidate with more experience could be considered as a consultant actuarial ($113,220 - $138,400).
What you'll do here:
Lead analyses that explain trends in claims frequency and severity for all lines of business
Creatively quantify impact and diligently prepare our claims teams for industry events (e.g. various reforms, tariff, etc.)
Support claims operations and supply chain on the deployment of strategic initiatives through cost-benefit-analysis and KPI monitoring
Communicate data-driven insights, leveraging GenAI, and make actionable recommendations to claims operations, actuarial, finance and management (e.g. fraud propensity, catastrophe estimate)
Drive change by improving work processes, data visualization and data pipeline
Help guide and prioritize the team’s work and coach effectively to strengthen both individual and group success
What you bring to the table:
University Degree or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
Certifications in Mathematics, Actuarial, ACAS preferred.
3 years or more of actuarial experience (preferably in the P&C Insurance sector or data analytics team).
Working knowledge with SAS, Excel, Python, Power BI.
Familiarity with cloud data platforms preferred (e.g. Databricks, Snowflake)
Desirable competencies: adaptability, innovative, analytical, decision making, critical thinking, stellar communication, planning and organizing, team oriented.
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country .
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
