The Senior Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of financial records including, but not limited to creating journal entries and assembling supporting documentation, tracking the contents of accounts, and creating portions of the financial statements.
Responsibilities

Balance sheet reconciliations and P & L fluctuation analysis

Consolidation, inter-company transactions and reconciliations including foreign currency accounting.

Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance to internal policies.

Calculate monthly commissions.

Interface with management in various departments, including engineering, sales operations, IT and legal.

Preparation of annual audit schedules.

Other projects as assigned.
Experience
-
Bachelor's degree in accounting.
-
Strong technical accounting background.
-
At least five to seven years general ledger accounting experience is required.

Advanced Excel and database skills.

Deferred revenue and revenue recognition required.

Project cost accounting knowledge
-
Intacct™ ERP experience, a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Solid organizational skills.

Team player with the ability to work independently.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout Company organization.
