You, as the Senior Accountant will join our fast and emerging growth security business and you will be a key contributor in the financial accounting team and will work closely with the Controller and should have a team-oriented and hands-on work style.  

Note, this role will require attendance in the Cambridge, MA office once a week as well as occasional in office meetings.                 

What You Will Do

Accounting

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of cash disbursements, customer payments, and general accounting.
  • Responsible for the various close processes (month-end, quarter-end, and year-end) including balance sheet reconciliations such as fixed assets, bonus/commission/general accruals, FSA, and VAT reconciliations.
  • Maintenance of vendor related expense tracking files.
  • Assist with intercompany process and related reconciliations.
  • Assist with annual audits and tax filings.
  • Manage and implement any improvements needed to the financial system.
  • Manage employee reimbursements and maintain T&E system administration.
  • Manage corporate credit card transactions and monthly reconciliations.
  • Assist with insurance renewals and renewal tracking.
  • Assist with implementation and management of purchase order and procurement process.
  • Serve as a backup for staff. 
  • Work closely with the Controller on projects that arise.
  • Other duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For

  • BA/BS in Accounting
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years at the Senior Accountant level.
  • Strong Excel skills required
  • NetSuite experience highly preferred
  • Excellent independent working skills

The base salary range for this role is influenced by several factors, including work location, job-related skills and experience, relevant education, training or certifications, and other business needs. For this position, the target base salary is $104K - $114K.
