We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced Accounting team. This individual will play a key role in supporting the company’s accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, expenses management, month-end close, and audit preparation. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, maintain compliance with internal controls and policies, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the accounting function. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

These are the key ways you’ll contribute and create impact in this role:

• Own month-end close activities, including the preparation of bank reconciliations, prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, and other tasks to support accurate financial reporting under US GAAP

• Manage the accounts payable function within Ramp by maintaining accurate vendor records, processing bills in a timely manner, and ensuring proper approval and coding in accordance with company policies

• Oversee the corporate card and employee expense program by managing the reconciliation of transactions, enforcing policy compliance, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to investigate discrepancies and drive accountability

• Lead the accounts receivable lifecycle, including customer billing, payment application, and proactive management of collections to support accurate revenue recognition

• Serve as a key contributor to external audits by anticipating auditor needs and independently preparing audit-ready reconciliations and schedules

• Analyze complex financial data, identifying trends and variances that impact financial performance and provide actionable insights and recommendations to drive operational excellence.

• Utilize and optimize accounting systems and AI-enabled tools to enhance data accuracy, streamline reconciliations, automate routine tasks, and improve reporting workflows

🚀 The Foundation for Success - These are the experiences and strengths that will set you up for success in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; designated CPA’s are preferred.

• Minimum of 4-5 years of related accounting experience, with a mix of Big 4 and industry experience, is a nice-to-have.

• Familiarity with US GAAP accounting principles and experience with consolidated financial reporting is preferred.

• Proficiency in NetSuite and Google Sheets is preferred

• Strong analytical skills, proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
