Are you passionate about real estate financing and looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking to add a Senior Account Manager to our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on projects and transactions throughout Ontario.

What you’ll accomplish with us

As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Promote and negotiate commercial mortgage loan requests with industry stakeholders.

  • Initiate, develop, and maintain business relationships with existing and prospective clients in order to promote iA products.

  • Represent the company at various business-related events.

  • Visit projects to be financed and provide technical support to expedite decision-making for the approval of new loan requests and renewals by the credit committee.

  • Ensure that files submitted for approval meet quality standards and comply with the criteria established by the Investment Committee and senior management.

What could accelerate your success in this role?

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field;

  • Chartered Appraiser (AACI) designation is an asset;

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage financing for complex real estate projects;

  • Familiarity with real estate law;

  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, real estate valuation techniques, and underwriting standards and policies;

  • Knowledge of the real estate market;

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

  • Familiarity with the Windows environment and strong proficiency in Word and Excel;

  • Skills and abilities inherent to the role, including leadership, customer service orientation, management awareness, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to analyze, synthesize, simplify complex situations, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing;

  • Knowledge of the French language is an asset

The typical hiring range for this position is between $110000 and $155000 CAD per year; the base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role. At iA, we are committed to offering a fair, equitable, and market-based compensation structure. Our market data is updated annually to reflect the most current market conditions.
